
No. 13 Women’s Basketball, No. 3 Notre Dame Preparing for Sunday Showdown

The Cardinals and Notre Dame are tied atop the ACC standings at 10-0.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – No. 13 Louisville and No. 3 Notre Dame are two of the hottest teams in women's basketball right now, with both riding 15-game winning streaks.
The Cardinals (18-5) and Fighting Irish (22-1), tied atop the Atlantic Coast Conference standings at 10-0, meet on Sunday in the KFC Yum! Center at 2 p.m. on ESPN2. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
The game is part of the Kroger 'Pack the House' campaign, with tickets are being sold for $3 apiece with display of a Kroger plus card. With the men's basketball team playing on Saturday, fans can redeem their men's basketball stub – either on Saturday or 90 minutes before tip on Sunday – for a $3 ticket to the women's game.
Louisville, which is 9-1 at home this year, earned a 78-60 victory Thursday night at North Carolina, scoring a season-best 35 points in the third quarter. Three players finished with double-digit points, paced by Mariya Moore's game-high 22. Myisha Hines-Allen recorded her seventh career double-double, with 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Asia Durr came off the bench and totaled 21 points and a season-best eight rebounds.
Hines-Allen is pacing the Cardinals in scoring (15.6) and rebounding (7.8), while Moore boosted her season average to 14.8 points, with a team-high 107 assists. Durr, who has been stellar in league play, has recorded double-digit points in nine-consecutive contests and is producing 11.6 points.
