Jeff Walz Radio Show Schedule Released

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Jeff Walz Radio show, an increasingly popular event surrounding the University of Louisville women's basketball program is returning for the 2016-17 campaign.

Presented by Chili's Grill & Bar, the first five shows take place at the restaurant's Brownsboro Crossing location (9720 Von Allmen Court), and the next six will be held at the Hikes Lane establishment (3623 Bardstown Road). All shows are broadcast live on 93.9 FM The Ville run from 7-8 p.m.

Nick Curran, the new Louisville women's basketball play-by-play voice, will host the show and discuss with the 10th-year coach recent games, the upcoming slate, and different aspects of the program.

Louisville's mascot, Louie the Cardinal, will be making appearances at Chili's Grill & Bar for four selected shows: Nov. 9, Nov. 29, Jan. 9, and Feb. 7. Kids also are encouraged to attend, as they can eat free on Tuesdays.

No reservations will be taken at either location. All seating is first come, first served, starting at 6 p.m. on the day of the show.

The Cardinals open the season on Friday at UT Martin before returning to the KFC Yum! Center on Sunday for the home opener against 2016 NCAA Tournament participant Belmont.
