- Junior linebacker Stacy Thomas recorded his first career sack in the third quarter.
- Sophomore quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has accounted for 47 touchdowns this season, tied the ACC record with Clemson's Deshaun Watson for the most touchdowns responsible for in a season with 47. Jackson has 28 touchdowns passes this season, which ties for seventh on the school's single-season list.
- Jackson has accounted for at least one touchdown in 14-straight games dating back to last season.
- The sophomore has 40 touchdown passes in 23 career games.
- Jackson has thrown at least one touchdown pass in 14-straight games.
- Entering the game with 1,334 rushing yards, Jackson totaled 33 yards to give him 1,367 on the season, which ranks fourth in a season in school history.

- Mason King averaged 50.8 yards per punt versus Houston, which was the fourth-highest single-game average in school history. He punted seven times, with a long of 58 yards — the second-longest of his career.
