Team Notes:
- Louisville extended its winning streak to 14 games and is just two wins away from tying the school record of 16 (2013-2014).
- The Cardinals capped off a perfect month of January (9-0) with the 78-54 victory, also winning their 25th-consecutive home game during the month of January.
- The nine wins in January are the most in any month under head coach Jeff Walz.
- Louisville improves to 83-10 all-time in the KFC Yum! Center after the victory over the Demon Deacons.
- The Cardinals forced 25 turnovers and the Demon Deacons only hit 20 field goals, marking the 13th time an opponent has had more turnovers than made shots.
- Louisville limited Wake Forest to just 38.5 percent from the field, the seventh ACC opponent to connect on less than 40 percent of their shots.
- The 25 turnovers turned into 26 points for the Cardinals, making it the sixth-consecutive game Louisville has scored 20 or more points off opponents' turnovers.
- Louisville continued to pass the ball efficiently, with 17 assists on 26 made baskets. It improved the streak to 22-straight games to start the season with 10 or more assists.
- The Cardinals crashed the offensive glass and grabbed 23 offensive rebounds. It was the fourth time this season they have at least 20 offensive boards and the third time they have had more offensive rebounds than defensive rebounds in a game.
- Louisville improved to 10-0 in games this season when they allow 59 points or less.
Player Notes:
- Mariya Moore scored a game-high 26 points and was one 3-pointer shy from tying her career high in 3-point field goals after hitting five shots from behind the arc against the Demon Deacons.
- Freshman Erin DeGrate tallied her second-consecutive and sixth overall game this season with at least five rebounds after she corralled seven against the Demon Deacons.
- Myisha Hines-Allen scored in double figures for the 18th time this season.
- Cortnee Walton hauled in five offensive rebounds in the win, her ninth game this season with five or more.
- Junior Briahanna Jackson scored 10 points in the win, her 17th game this season with 10 or more.
- Freshman Asia Durr scored 18 points in the win, extending her streak of double-figure scoring games to eight. She finished with 18 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
- Durr went 8-for-9 from the charity stripe, improving her percentage in conference play to 86.2 (25-of-29).
