Team Notes:
- Louisville improves to 82-10 all-time in the KFC Yum! Center.
- The Cardinals held Clemson to just 12 points in the first half, the fewest points they have allowed in a half since Dec. 31, 2012 (Tennessee State).
- Louisville has won eight games in the month of January. They are now just one win shy of the record for most victories in January – and any month – under coach Jeff Walz.
- Louisville outrebounded Clemson 50-27, its highest rebounding margin of the season and second most total team rebounds since Nov. 21 (Western Kentucky, 53).
- The Louisville bench scored 32 points, making it the sixth time this season it has scored 30 or more points. Over the last three games, the Cardinals reserves are averaging 28.6 points per game.
- Louisville extended its winning streak to 13 games and is just three wins away from tying the school record of 16 (2013-2014).
- Louisville held Clemson scoreless from behind the 3-point line (0-of-9), the first time since Dec. 12, 2011 (Gardner Webb), that the Cardinals have accomplished such a feat.
- Louisville scored 22 points off 21 Clemson turnovers, making it the fifth-consecutive game Louisville has scored 20 or more points off opponents' turnovers.
- Louisville registered 20 assists against Clemson, making it the ninth time this season the Cardinals have compiled 20 assists or more.
Player Notes:
- Freshman Brianna Jones scored a season-high six points, including four in the opening period.
- In her third career start, freshman Sam Fuehring grabbed a season-high five rebounds. She also scored 12 points, making it the third time this season she has reached double-digits scoring.
- Fuehring also shot a season-best 4-of-5 (80.0 percent) from the free-throw line.
- Briahanna Jackson shot a season-best 3-of-4 (75.0 percent) from behind the 3-point line.
- Freshman Erin DeGrate snagged a season-high in rebounds with 10.
- Cortnee Walton grabbed 10 boards, making it the seventh game this season she has reached double-digit rebounds.
- Walton (10) and DeGrate (10) are the second pair of Louisville players since Dec. 12 (Walton and Hines-Allen) to register double-digit rebounds in the same game.
