
Women's Basketball to Host Annual Golf Classic

The event is taking place on Sept. 28 at Fuzzy Zoeller's Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, Ind.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's basketball program is playing host to its third annual golf classic on Sept. 28 at Fuzzy Zoeller's Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, Ind.
The tournament features a four-person team scramble - a limit of 30 teams - and it starts with registration at 11 a.m. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m., and the shotgun start is set for 12:30 p.m. Mulligans, contest shots, 50/50 split the pot, a silent auction, and raffle items will be available throughout the day.

For those unable to compete, sponsorships, such as 'Longest Putt Contest' and 'Closest to the Line' are available. Fans also can sponsor individual holes.
All proceeds from the classic will be used toward continuing renovations to the women's basketball practice facility and funding a foreign trip for the program.
