CLEMSON, S.C. - The Louisville rowing team closed the two-day Clemson Invitational with a runner-up finish in the second varsity four race on Sunday morning at Lake Hartwell.

The Cardinals' 2V4+ crew of Karina Baldwin (coxswain), Katie Miller, Kelsey Webb, Gabi Biedenharn and Marissa Thalen finished with a time of 7:30.3 trailing only top-ranked Ohio State (7:24.6) in the field of six teams. Syracuse was third at 7:33.9, while UCLA was fourth at 7:34.4.

Louisville also earned a trio of third-place finishes on Sunday after winning two races during Saturday's opening day of competition. This weekend marked the third straight season the Cardinals have competed at the Clemson Invitational.

Up next, Louisville will have a week off from competition for training before visiting Michigan on May 2.
