The University of Louisville women's tennis team took the doubles point and swept all six singles to post a 7-0 win over Northern Kentucky Sunday afternoon in the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

"Today was a good day," said UofL head coach Mark Beckham. "We came out with very good focus and didn't let NKU get into any of the matches. That was my main objective with the match. We concentrated on no mental lapses and made NKU earn everything they got. I feel like that happened."

The No. 1 doubles pair of Ariana Rodriguez and Elle Stokes rolled 6-0 over NKU's Rheanna Morehart and Danielle Donahue. Louisville's Manuela Velasquez and Ellie Gerlach clinched the double point with a 6-3 win at No. 3 over Nicole Soutar and Yasmine Xantos. Olivia Boesing and Chloe Willetts won 6-2 at No. 2 to complete the sweep.

Chloe Willetts scored the first singles point with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 5 over Sierra Nellessen. Jessie Lynn Paul won at No. 3 with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Danielle Donahue. The clinching point came from Ellie Gerlach at the No. 6 spot with a 6-1, 6-2 over Nicole Soutar. Elle Stokes won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 followed by Ariana Rodriguez's win at No. 2, beating Hailey Shanahan 6-4, 6-1. Olivia Boesing won a three-setter with a 6-2, 4-6, 10-3 win at No. 4 to complete the sweep.
