Singles and Doubles Continue On Sunday

The Cardinals picked up wins in singles and doubles on Day Two of the Western Michigan Bronco Challenge.

In A singles,sophomore Abbie Pahz beat Paula Gutierrez of Indiana 6-3, 6-4 and Anastasia Reimchen of Iowa (6-4, 3-6, 6-2 and will meet Melina Lyobomirova on Sunday.

Sena Suswam bowed out of B singles after a pair of losses to Iowa and Michigan.

In C Singles, Olivia Boesing will play Adorabol Huckleby of Iowa on Sunday, after beating Aimee Tarun of Iowa and Danielle Wolf of Indiana.

In doubles, Olivia Boesing and Abbie Pahz lost their first round to Indiana but powered back to beat Adorabol Huckleby/Aimee Tarun of Iowa 6-3 and Annette Dohanics and Kristen Thoms of Iowa 6-4.

A Singles
Abbie Pahz defeated Paula Gutierrez (IU) 6-3, 6-4
Abbie Pahz defeated Anastasia Reimchen (Iowa) 6-4, 3-6, 6-2
will play Melina Lyubomirova on Sunday.

B Singles
Sena Suswam lost to Zoe Douglas (Iowa) 6-2, 6-3
Sena Suswam lost to Diana Tokar (MU) 5-7, 6-4, 7-5

C Singles
Olivia Boesing defeated Aimee Tarun (Iowa) 6-4, 2-6, 6-3
Olivia Boesing defeated Danielle Wolf (IU), 7-6 (4), 6-4
