OKC Challenge Enters Break

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville softball team has entered the intermission portion of the 2015 OKC Challenge and will resume action after the holiday break.

With two days of competition in the books and the Black Squad holding a 400-250 lead in the overall standings.

Sophomores Sidney Melton and Alison Szydlowski chronicled the first half of the OKC Challenge. Below is a recap of the first two days prior to the current break in action.
Day One (Thursday)
The Red Squad gained an early edge by winning the majority of challenges in a six-station setup that included an obstacle course, sled pull and a protein shake relay race.
Day Two (Friday)
The Black Squad took over the lead after running stadium stairs and carrying a weighted rope at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
