Pre-Nationals Meet Expanded

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Pre-National meet scheduled for Oct. 17 at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park has been expanded from four races to six races due to amount of teams registered.

The first two races will be seeded races for the men and women. Those races will be followed by unseeded races and the final race will be an open. Teams will be allowed to run seven runners in the seeded and unseeded races. If teams travel more than seven runners, they will compete in the open races. The schedule of the races is listed below:

9:30 a.m.          Men's 8,000 Meter Red Race (seeded)
10:15 a.m.        Women's 6,000 Meter Red Race (seeded)
10:45 a.m.        Men's 8,000 Meter Black Race (unseeded)
11:30 a.m.        Women's 6,000 Meter Black Race (unseeded)
12:00 p.m.       Men's 8,000 Meter Open Race
12:45 p.m.       Women's 6,000 Meter Open Race
