Ten softbal players named NFCA Division I All-America Scholar-Athletes
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Ten University of Louisville softball players were named 2014-15 National Fastpitch Coaches (NFCA) Division I All-America Scholar Athletes as released by the organization Tuesday.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have registered a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for the 2014-15 academic year.
Louisville's 2014-15 NFCA All-American Scholar-Athletes include: Whitney Arion, Brittany Duncan, Bridgette Flaherty, Kelsi Jones, Sidney Melton, Morgan Meyer, Madi Norman, Brittany Sims, Kayla Soles and Alison Szydlowski.
The Cardinals finished the 2015 season with a 30-19 overall record after making their 12th consecutive NCAA regional appearance.
