Cards beat Lake Land 10-0 and 9-1 in Louisville Fall Softball Tournament
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville softball team swept Lake Land Community College 10-0 and 9-1 in a double header on day one of the Louisville Fall Softball Tournament at Ulmer Stadium. Saturday's schedule originally included Wallace State, but the team did not make the trip due to inclement weather.
"This has really been a great fall so far," said UofL head coach Sandy Pearsall. "What I'm really enjoying right now is that we are well ahead of where we were a year ago. We have a lot of new players and they are learning quickly and starting to get the idea of what we want them to do. Do we have things that we could do better? Of course… but I'm really excited about where we are right now."
