Men's Tennis Set for Ohio Valley Regional

LOUISVILLE, Ky. –The University of Louisville men's tennis team will send eight players to Knoxville, Tenn., for the 2015 Ohio Valley Regional Oct. 15-1 at Tennessee's Goodfriend Tennis Center and the Knoxville Racquet Club.

Seniors Jeffrey Brown and Alex Gornet, junior Sean Donohue, sophomores Courtney Lock and Santiago Salazar and freshmen Brandon Lancaster, Brian Tsao and Michael Quang will represent the Cardinals in the tournament.

"I am excited about this tournament," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "It brings 24 teams and the best players from the Ohio Valley Region to one site. Last season Alex Gornet made it to the final four of 104 players and Albert Wagner and Chris Simich made it to the finals of 48 doubles teams. We have eight players invited this year when we only had five players invited last year. We are hoping for a big weekend."

The tournament will consist of a 128-player singles bracket with a consolation draw and a 64-team doubles draw. Thursday's action will begin at 8 a.m. (ET) with a round of doubles followed by two rounds of singles.
