Cards conclude play at ITA All-American Championships
TULSA, Okla. – The University of Louisville's Jeffrey Brown and Alex Gornet fell 6-4, 6-2 to Virginia Tech in the semifinals of the doubles consolation draw of the ITA All-American Championship Sunday afternoon.
"Virginia Tech had a well-coached team and they really made the most of their opportunities today," said UofL assistant coach Jakob Gustafsson. " Alex and Jeff overall had a good tournament but today's match will leave a bitter taste for a while."
Next on the Cardinals' schedule is the Ohio Valley Regional Oct. 15-19 in Knoxville, Tenn.
