
ReCouper-Servi Joins Softball Staff

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville head softball coach Sandy Pearsall has announced that Amy ReCouper-Servi has joined her staff as a volunteer assistant coach. Her duties will include assisting with practice and game preparation and working with the catchers.
"We are excited about having Amy join us as a volunteer assistant," said Pearsall. "She was not only a gifted player who was instrumental in the sport of softball at Colorado State, but she also brings a wealth of experience and will be able to help in all facets of the program."
ReCouper-Servi, who played for Pearsall at Colorado State from 1992-96, was an all-Western Athletic Conference selection as a catcher/third baseman.
"It is an honor to be coaching with Sandy Pearsall," said ReCouper-Servi. "She has been a mentor since my playing days and really helped shape my softball career. The opportunity to work with her at Louisville is exciting."
ReCouper-Servi joins the Cardinals from Santa Clara University, where she was an assistant coach in 2014. In the Broncos' first season in the West Coast Conference, she helped the team improve from the previous year in nearly every offensive category. Also in 2014, four players earned all-conference honors for the first time in program history.
Prior to her stint at Santa Clara, ReCouper-Servi was the head coach at Monterey Peninsula College from 2008-13. While there, she quickly and successfully rebuilt the program and became the winningest coach in program history after the team made back-to-back post season appearances in 2012 and 2013. During her time at Monterey Peninsula, she produced, two All-Americans, three all-state and all-NorCal players, and 13 all-conference honorees.
She began her playing career at Colorado State where she played catcher and third base. As a true freshman, she was named to the 1992 WAC All-Tournament team went on to achieve first team All-Conference honors as a senior in 1996.
The 1996 graduate of Colorado State University majored in Political Science with a minor in Economics. She earned her MBA in finance from Webster University in 2005.
Off the field ReCouper-Servi is the co-founder and CEO of Zeroedin Inc. since 2004. Zeroedin is an internationally recognized Microsoft consulting firm focused on providing software and consulting services to retail companies. She is also the CEO and founder of Sportz Rocker.
She has a daughter, Jenna, who is 13 years old.
