Four Cardinals Finish Play in the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational

Four University of Louisville women's golfers competed individually at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational in Winter Springs, Fla. on Monday and Tuesday. The tournament, which took place at the Tuscawilla Country Club, consisted of players from 15 different universities.
Freshman Shannon Gramley led all Cardinals and finished tied for third place in the tournament with a final score of 224. Gramley finished eight over par and earned her first Top 10 finish for the spring season.
Redshirt junior Sara Karlsson finished tied for eighth place in her first tournament of the spring. She finished 14 over par with a final score of 230 and shot a season low of 72 strokes in the third round.
Freshman Emily Kurey finished the tournament in 27th place with a score of 237. She tied her spring season low of 75 strokes in the first round. Redshirt junior Haley Andreas finished in 67th place with a final stroke count of 259.
The team will be back in action on March 14 at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz.
