
Women's Golf Finishes Sixth at the Bryan National Collegiate

The University of Louisville women's golf team shot a 320 in the final round of the Bryan National Collegiate on Sunday at the Bryan Park Golf Course in Greensboro, N.C. The Cardinals finished tied for sixth place with Clemson with a final score of 913. Duke won the tournament with a score of 882. South Carolina finished in second place with a 903, while host Wake Forest finished in third with 905. Florida State and Virginia finished in fourth and fifth place with scores of 906 and 909 respectively.
Junior Katie Petrino led all Cardinals and finished tied for 12th place with a final score of 222. Petrino shot an 81 in the final round and finished the tournament eight over par. Duke's Celine Boutier won the tournament with a score of 216, just one stroke ahead of Clemson's Ashlan Ramsey. Ramsey finished with a score of 217.
Junior Emily Haas shot a 78 in the final round and tied for 16th with a score of 225. This was Haas' first Top 20 finish this spring and second on the year. Sophomore Laura Restrepo shot an 81 in the final round. Restrepo finished tied for 27th with a score of 230.
Senior Tara Lyons carded an 80 in the final round and finished tied for 56th with a score of 234. Freshman Louise Oxner shot an 87 in the final round. Oxner finished in 88th with a score of 244.
Louisville will return to action on April 7 at the Web.com Intercollegiate held in Jacksonville, Fla.
