Voelmle Selected for Senior All-Star Game

The University of Louisville's Alyssa Voelmle has been selected to play in the 2014 Victory Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I Senior Game which will take place on Saturday, November 22 at the University of Maryland at 3 p.m.
Voelmle, a senior defender from Hershey, Pa., leads the Cardinals offensively with 23 points (10G, 3A). The four-year starter and has led the team offensively the past two seasons. She is seventh on Louisville's list for career goals with 29 and stands ninth with 69 career points.
The three-time all-conference selection was also named to the conference all-tournament team twice and earned All-West Region first team honors in 2013.
Ninth-ranked UofL (14-4) will wrap up the regular season at No. 19 Michigan State on Saturday Nov. 1.
