Louisville, Ky. - What do you remember most about your recruiting visit to the University of Louisville?
My first time visiting Louisville was for team camp. I loved everything about it, the facilities and the players' fun personalities. I knew it was the place I wanted to be.
Now that you have been in Louisville for a while, what is your favorite thing about the University of Louisville?
My favorite thing is hanging out with a lot of the other teams, like women's soccer, when we are off on weekends. I really like meeting new people.
Have you had a chance to explore the city of Louisville? And what do you like most about the city?
Yes I have been able to explore the city a little bit. What I like most about the city is that it reminds me a lot of my hometown. I also love the shopping, I have made a home in St. Matthews and Jefferson Malls.
Has your summer work outs been harder than the workouts in you had in high school?
They are much harder and different. But I really like the new experience and actually getting in shape has always been a struggle. With the help our strength and conditioning coach, getting in shape is no longer a problem.
Which teammate do you hang out with the most? What do you enjoy about hanging out with them?
I love hanging out with Shawnta' Dyer and Sheronne Vails. They are so funny and real. Sherronne and I like to watch movies and eat pizza. Shawnta' and I always laugh for no reason at random things. I feel like they understand me the most.
Does being a basketball player help you in throwing? What is similar about the two sports?
Yes, basketball really does help. Basketball keeps me fast in the throwing ring and throwing keeps me strong on the court. Basketball and track and field are not that similar but they both require good foot work.
How do you see yourself contributing to the team this year?
I see myself contributing in a powerful aspect of the game. I am very strong and I plan on using that to my advantage in the post.
What do see yourself receiving a degree in? What are your future plans as of today?
I see myself receiving a degree in civil engineering. My future plans are to either go to the WNBA, or train for the Olympics or be an engineer. :)
