
Louisville Teams Still In Top 10 Standings After Two Rounds

Columbus, Ohio - Two Louisville teams are currently in the Top 10 after the second round of the 4th Annual Pure Silk Women's Collegiate Team Championship Presented by the Women's Golf Coaches Association. The Cardinals have two teams competing, Emily Haas and Laura Restrepo are tied for fourth while Tara Lyons and Katie Petrino are tied for ninth.
The tournament is a three day event held at the fantastic Wedgewood Golf & Country Club just outside of Columbus, Ohio. The 42 two-person teams will compete with other teams from across the nation in a unique format. Each team will compete in Alternate Shot (Day One), Best Ball (Day Two) and Combined Score (Day Three).
Haas and Restrepo are currently tied for fourth after shooting a 67 in the best ball round today. They have a two round score of 144 after shooting a 77 in the alternate shot round on Monday. Lyons and Petrino are currently tied for ninth after shooting a 71 in the best ball round. They have a score of 149 after shooting a 78 in the first round of play.
Michigan State's team of Nagel and Witherby currently lead the field after two rounds with a score of 138. Thomas and Newell from Tennessee are in second place with a score of 142 while Iowa's English and Midkiff are third with a score of 143.
