
Laura Restrepo Finishes Second at the Judson Collegiate

Louisville, Ky. - Louisville's Laura Restrepo finished second at the Judson Collegiate Golf Tournament on Monday afternoon at the Country Club of Roswell in Roswell, Ga. The stroke play event featured 60 of the top collegiate women and 30 of the top LPGA Legends Tour Players.
Restrepo shot a 74 and second days of stroke play. She wrapped up the final day of stroke play shooting a 70 to finish with a score of 218. Restrepo was just four strokes off the winner Maribel Lopez-Porras who finished with a score of 214.
This unique golf event was founded in 2012 by Country Club of Roswell professional Jackie Cannizo, LPGA and Legends player Rosie Jones and CCR member Lauren Judson. The event honors former CCR members Jim and Beth Judson.
On Saturday, college players played in pairings with Legends players to compete in stroke play. The Legends players competed for $120,000 on Saturday. The college players continued stroke play on Sunday and Monday to determine a winner among the 60 collegians. All proceeds from the event went to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Strong 4 Life wellness initiative.
