
Fellerhoff and Shine Earn All-BIG EAST Honors

The BIG EAST Conference announced its women's tennis regular season awards Thursday. University of Louisville juniors Julia Fellerhoff and Rebecca Shine, who provided the one-two punch for the Cardinals that allowed U of L to maintain an undefeated home slate made the list. It is the second straight year for them to earn kudos from the league.
Notre Dame junior Britney Sanders was named the Player of the Year, DePaul's Matea Cutura earned Freshman of the Year honors and Fighting Irish head coach Jay Louderback earned Coach of the Year accolades.
The BIG EAST also announced the 12 player all-conference team. In addition to Player of the Year, Britney Sanders, Notre Dame was represented by junior Jennifer Kellner and freshman Quinn Gleason to lead all teams with three selections. Of the league's 15 schools, seven had players on the team, including three with two honorees each: No. 75 DePaul, Louisville and Syracuse. St. John's, Seton Hall and No. 64 USF all have one player on the team.
