In the third-place match at the BIG EAST Women's Tennis Championship, No. 5 seed DePaul beat No. 3 seed Louisville 4-1 on Varsity Courts in Tampa Florida on the campus of the University of South Florida.

The Cards dropped the doubles point with U of L falling at the No. 2 and No. 3 slots to give the Blue Demons a 1-0 lead going into singles.

U of L evened the score when Rebecca Shine won at No. 2 with a score of 6-1, 6-2. But DePaul ran the rest of the table as the Cards fell but finished fourth in the tournament.
