Saturday's match-up marks the ninth all-time meeting between the Cardinals and the Panthers.

With the win, Louisville improves to 20-4 on the season making it the 15th time in program history the Cardinals have reached the 20-win plateau.
Under the guidance of head coach Jeff Walz, the Cardinals have reached 20 wins in a season for the fifth time in his six seasons at the helm, which ranks as the most of any coach in program history.

The Cardinals continue their strong play as they extend their current win streak to six games in conference play. That is tied for the second longest winning streak in conference since Louisville joined the BIG EAST in 2005-06. The longest BIG EAST winning streak for the Cardinals was during the 2008-09 season, when they won eight straight from Feb. 11 to March 9.
With an 18 to 11 assist-to-turnover ratio against Pittsburgh, this marks the 14th game this season the Cardinals have had a positive assist-to-turnover ratio. It is also the fifth straight game Louisville has achieved this feat.
Junior Shoni Schimmel led the way in scoring pouring in 22 points against the Panthers, which is her second highest point total this season behind her career-high 38 points against USF. This marks the 20th game she has reached double-digit scoring, which leads the team.
Junior Antonita Slaughter tied her career-high in assists dishing out four against Pittsburgh. She also contributed 10 points, which marks the 12th straight game she has eclipsed the double-digit mark.
