Women's Golf Finishes Ninth at the Alamo Invitational

The Louisville women's golf team shot a 286 in the final round of the Alamo Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at the Briggs Ranch Golf Course. The Cardinals finished ninth with a score of 872. Oklahoma won the tournament with a score of 840. LSU finished second with a score of 848 while Arkansas finished third with a score of 851.
Junior Emily Haas led the Cardinals in the final round, finishing tied at 17th. Haas shot a 71 in the final round to finish with a score of 214. LSU's Lindsay Gahm took medalist honors after finishing the tournament at 11 under par for a score of 205.
Laura Restrepo shot a 72 in the final round. Restrepo finished tied at 22nd with a score of 216. Freshman Louise Oxner finished tied at 38th with a score of 220. Oxner also shot a 71 in the final round.
Junior Katie Petrino shot a 72 in the final round. Petrino finished tied at 50th with a score of 223. Senior Tara Lyons finished tied at 61st with a score of 226. Lyons finished the day shooting a 72.
The tournament concludes the fall season for the team. They will begin spring play on Feb. 17 at the Central Division Invitational in Highland Park, Ill.
