Women's Golf Finishes First Round of the Alamo Invitational

The Louisville women's golf team shot a 290 in the first round of the Alamo Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the Briggs Ranch Golf Course. The Cardinals are currently tied for 10th along with Tulane and Tennessee. Oklahoma currently leads the field after shooting a 278 in the first round. Arkansas is second with a score of 270 and Florida is third with a score of 280.
Sophomore Laura Restrepo is currently tied for first place after carding a 67 in the first round. Restrepo is tied with Florida's Sarah Schober. Restrepo finished the day with five birdies on the day.
Junior Emily Haas shot a 73 in the first round. She is currently tied for 39th. Senior Tara Lyons shot a 74 in the first round. Lyons is currently tied at 49th.
Junior Katie Petrino and freshman Louise Oxner both finished the day shooting a 76. Petino and Oxner are tied at 63rd.
The Cardinals will tee off for the second round at 8:30 a.m. Monday morning.
