Fellerhoff and Shine Advance at ITA Regionals

Julia Fellerhoff and Rebecca Shine advanced to the semi finals in doubles with Fellerhoff advancing to the quarterfinals in singles as the ITA Regionals Tennis Tournament continues in Memphis.

Fellerhoff and Shine beat Memphis' Marta Morga and Skylar Kuykendall 8-3 and will face off against Krisztina Kapitany and Mara Schmidt of Purdue on Monday as play continues.

Shine fell to Tennessee's Eve Repic 6-3, 6-3 in the Singles Main Draw and Elle Stokes droped a three set 6-7, 6-2, 7-5 to Joanna Henderson, also in the Main Draw.

Cassie Pough moved through the Back Draw in singles with a win over Krisztina Kapitany in a three set thriller 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 before beating Alexa Flynn of Chattanooga. Pough will face Nayara Moraes of MTSU next.

In the Doubles Back Draw, Olivia Boesing and Cassie Pough beat MTSU before falling to Kentucky's pair, Morin-Kougoucheff, the eventual winners of the Back Draw.
