Women's Basketball Travels to Marquette

Louisville, Ky. - The No. 13/13 Louisville women's basketball team will travel to Marquette on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at the Al McGuire Center at 9:00 p.m. The game will air live on CBS Sports Network.
The Cardinals enter the game with an overall record of 15-4 and a 3-2 record in league play. Overall, Schimmel leads the team in scoring with 12.7 points while dishing out 3.2 assists. Sara Hammond ranks second on the team in scoring with 10.7 points per game while leading the team in rebounding with 6.2 per game. Monique Reid rounds out the top scorers with 10.4 points per game.
Marquette enters the game with an overall record of 10-7 and a league record of 2-2. The Golden Eagles won two straight BIG EAST games last week. Katherine Plouffe leads the team in scoring this season at 13.1 points per game. She also leads the team in rebounding with 7.6 boards per game. Ariesia Morse is the second leading scorer with 11.6 points per game.
