
Women's Golf Finishes 10th at the Mountain View Collegiate

Tucson, Ariz. - The University of Louisville women's golf team shot a 295 in the final round of the Mountain View Collegiate on Saturday afternoon in Tuscon, Ariz. The Cardinals finished 10th with a score of 896. Texas Tech won the tournament with a score of 858. Iowa State finished second with a score of 565 and Ohio State finished third with a score of 871.
Freshman Emily Haas shot a 70 in the final round to finish tied for 26th with a score of 221. Jennifer Brumbaugh won medalist honors with a score of 209, finishing seven under par.
Junior Candice Wiley also finished tied at 26th with a score of 221. Wiley shot a 77 in the final round. Freshman Sara Karlsson shot a 76 in the final round. She finished tied at 47th with a score of 227.
Freshman Katie Petrino shot a 73 in the final round. She finished tied at 50th with a score of 228. Sophomore Tara Lyons carded a 76 on the final day. She finished tied at 71st with a score of 234.
Maike Klein competed as an individual in the tournament. She finished the day with a 75 to finish tied at 79th with a score of 237.
The Cardinals will be in action again on April 6 at the Bryan National Collegiate.
