Softball Welcomes Alums to Ulmer Stadium Friday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville Softball team will conclude the 2011-12 fall season with an alumnae game on Friday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. at Ulmer Stadium.
Former players representing every season will be on the field, or in the dugout as the present team prepares for the 2012 season.
The Cardinal softball program has completed 12 seasons since beginning in 2000 under head coach Sandy Pearsall. During that time, Louisville has had eight NCAA appearances, three conference titles and achieved several top 25 rankings.
The Cards are coming off a 38-20 season in which they advanced to the NCAA regional tournament for the eighth consecutive season. Louisville returns seven starters and 15 letterwinners including BIG EAST selection players Katie Keller, Alicja Wolny, Hannah Kiyohara, Caralisa Connell and Jennifer Esteban.
