
U of L Cardinal Caravan Will Make Three Regional Stops

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville coaches and athletics staff members will visit three regional sites in May and early June with its 10th annual "Cardinal Caravan" in an effort to reach out to U of L fans.
"This annual tour is a terrific opportunity for our coaches and staff to interact with our loyal fan base," said Tom Jurich, Vice President and Director of Athletics at U of L. "We enjoy reaching out to extend our appreciation face-to-face with so many U of L supporters in our surrounding area."
The Cardinal Caravan will kick off on May 18 in Elizabethtown, Ky. at Three Putt Willie's at Pine Valley at 5:30 p.m. Members of the U of L coaching and support staff will also visit the Shelby County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Shelbyville, Ky. on June 9 at 5:30 p.m. and a Southern Indiana location on June 16 at 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot between Rocky's and Buckheads on the river.
The 2011 Cardinal Caravan will include a prize to the first 100 fans at each site and appearances by the national champion U of L cheerleaders, Ladybirds and Cardinal Bird. All stops are free with food and beverages available for purchase, along with free raffle drawings for great Cardinal items.
