The University of Louisville softball team will wrap up the home season with a BIG EAST Conference doubleheader Saturday at 11 a.m. Following the conclusion of the first game, the Cards will celebrate senior day Saturday.
Prior to the first game, U of L will hold its annual Cardinal Egg hunt beginning at 10 a.m. The egg hunt is open to children ages 12 and under and student-athletes will be on hand to give out prizes. Arts and crafts and inflatable jumpies will also be included in the festivities.
This year's senior class consists of Christina Roesel, Colby Wherry and Chelsea Bemis. As a class, with the final stretch of the 2011 slate still ahead, they have compiled over 150 victories, advanced to three-consecutive NCAA Regionals, and were ranked in the top 25 in each of the past two seasons.
