
Women's Basketball Travels to South Florida

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's basketball team will face South Florida on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sun Dome. The Cardinals are looking to bounce back from Wednesday's loss and earn another BIG EAST road win, with only four games remaining in the regular season.
Louisville enters Saturday's game with an overall record of 16-10 and a BIG EAST record of 7-5. The Cards are coming off a 57-46 win over No. 17/19 West Virginia on Sunday. Junior Monique Reid leads the team in scoring with 15.5 points per game. Freshman Shoni Schimmel is second with 15.1 points, while also leading the team and the league in assists at 5.3 per game. Senior Keshia Hines leads the team in rebounds in rebounding with 6.2 per game.
South Florida enters the game with an overall record of 10-16 and a BIG EAST record of 1-11. The Bulls are coming off an 80-60 loss to St. John's on Wednesday. The Smith sisters lead the Bulls in scoring with Andrea averaging 17.0 points per game and Andrell averaging 8.2 points per game. Senior Porche Grant leads the team in rebounding averaging 9.0 boards per game.
Louisville leads the series with USF 20-3. The Cardinals are 10-2 against the Bulls on the road.
