Louisville, Ky. - University of Louisville head coach Ken Lolla has announced the launch of the 2012 Louisville Achievement Coaching Symposium. The symposium is an educational training course for youth and high school soccer coaches to be held on the University of Louisville campus Saturday and Sunday, Feb.11-12, 2012.
Led by 2010 NSCAA Coach of the Year, Lolla, the 2010 College Soccer News Top Assistant, Mario Sanchez, the 2010 BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year, and the U.S. National Team Staff, the course will feature indoor on field training demonstrations, tactical video analysis, and keynote speeches on principles of success and personal development.
"We've been receiving many requests over the years to put on a coaching symposium," said Coach Lolla. "The symposium presents an opportunity to share our coaching philosophy and the technical and tactical principles that we have found to be successful in the game."
Field demonstrations will take place at the state-of-the-art Trager Indoor Training facility and lectures and an evening social will take place at the PNC club at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
"The symposium will be enhanced not only by our staff and the participation of our players, but also by the tremendous resources and state-of-the-art facilities on the University of Louisville campus," said Lolla.
