Daphne Parker Named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week

Louisville, Ky. - After finishing second at the BYU Classic last week, senior Daphne Parker was named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week. Parker's second place finish was a collegiate best, while finishing just one stroke off the lead.
Parker shot a collegiate low round of 69 in the second round of the BYU Classic held in St. George, Utah. She shot a 74 in the final round to capture the second place finish with a score of 215. Parker shot 72 in the first round and finished with her tournament low for the year. It is her second Top 10 finish of the year.
Parker currently ranks third on the team with a 75.6 scoring average.
