
Women's Tennis Falls to SMU

The University of Louisville women's tennis team fell 5-0 to SMU on the campus of the University of Missouri Saturday evening.
The Cardinals dropped the doubles point, falling at each position. At No. 3, Kaysara Mandry and Louise Noe battled to an 8-5 loss, falling to Shazoda Hatamova and Casey Kennedy in a closely contested match.
The Cardinals dropped two singles matches in three setters. Mandy Brown won the first set but fell at No. 1 singles 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 to Marta Lesniak. Kaysara Mandry took her first set 6-2 and then lost 7-5 in a nail biter before falling 6-0 at No. 4 versus Edyta Cieplucha.
