
Women's Basketball Travels to Seton Hall

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's basketball team will play host Seton Hall on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 7:00 p.m. in Walsh Gymnasium. The game will be broadcast live on WKRD and will also be available on www.UofLSports.com. Jim Kelch will handle the play-by-play, while Adrienne Johnson will be the color analyst.
Louisville enters the game with a 12-14 overall record and a 4-9 record in the BIG EAST. The Cardinals are coming a 77-61 win against Marquette snapping a five game losing streak. Louisville is led by a pair of sophomores in Monique Reid and Becky Burke. Reid, who garnered her first BIG EAST Player of the Week honor on Monday, leads the team in scoring with 16.7 points per game and rebounds with 9.2 boards per game. Burke is the second leading scorer with 15.2 points per game, while also being the team's top outside threat knocking down 63 3-pointers on the season.
Seton Hall enters the game with an overall record of 9-17 and a 1-12 record in the BIG EAST. The Pirates are led in scoring by sophomore Kandice Green and junior Ebonie Williams, each with 13.2 points per game. Green is team's top rebounder, averaging 8.7 boards per game. Williams is the Pirate's top outside threat having knocked down 63 3-pointers this season.
Louisville leads the overall series 4-0 against the Pirates. The Cardinals are 2-0 all-time against the Pirates in Walsh Gymnasium.
