
Women's Basketball Game Times and Television Appearances Set

Louisville, Ky. - Game times and television appearances for the University of Louisville's 2010-11 women's basketball schedule have been set. The Cardinals will face their first outside competition in an exhibition game against Indiana Wesleyan on Oct. 30 in the new 22,000-seat KFC Yum! Center at 4:30 p.m.
The Cardinals' season opener on Nov. 12 against Tennessee will be nationally televised on CBS College Sports at 7:00 p.m. The Cardinals will also appear on CBS College Sports again on Jan. 4 against St. John's at 7:00 p.m.
Louisville will appear on the ESPN network twice during the season. ESPNU will televise the Jan. 9 game against Pittsburgh at noon. ESPN2 will televise the Cardinals game against West Virginia on Feb. 13 at 5:00 p.m.
The BIG EAST Network will air the Jan. 29 matchup against Rutgers at 6:00 p.m. the game will be televised locally on WHAS-TV (Channel 11), an ABC affiliate in Louisville.
WAZOO Sports Network will televise four Cardinal games. Louisville will make its first appearance on WAZOO on Nov. 19 against Southeast Missouri State at 7:00 p.m. They will broadcast the Cards game against in-state rival Kentucky on Dec. 5 at 2:00 p.m. The Cardinals' BIG EAST matchups against Cincinnati on Jan. 22 and DePaul on Feb. 23 will air at 7:00 p.m.
All U of L games will be broadcast on 50,000-watt clear-channel WKRD (790 AM/101.7 FM) in Louisville and other affiliates throughout the region.
