The University of Louisville women's tennis team moved its record to 3-0 with a 7-0 sweep of intrastate rival Eastern Kentucky Friday evening at the Bass Rudd Tennis Center. The Cardinals took the doubles point and then ran through the singles to down the Colonels.
Sarah Miller and Gabi Duncan combined to win the first doubles match with a 8-2 win over Jessica Albuquerque and Myview Mhirit at No. 3. U of L's No. 2 pair of Mandy Brown and Louise Noe clinched the doubles point with a 8-3 win.
U of L then ran through the Colonels' singles lineup in straight sets. Mandy Brown's win over EKU's Anouk Foure clinched the match with a score of 6-0, 6-4
