
Women's Golf Hosts Napa River Grill Cardinal Cup

Louisville, Ky. - The Louisville women's golf team will host the Napa River Grill Monday and Tuesday at the Cardinal Club in Simpsonville, Ky. The Cardinals will host 11 teams in the 54 hole tournament. Teams participating are BYU, EKU, Illinois State, Morehead State, Akron, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, USF and Southern Miss.
The Cardinals will play 36-holes on Monday and 18-holes to wrap up the tournament on Tuesday. Both days tournament play will begin with an 8:15 shotgun start. Junior Laura Anderson will play in the top spot for the Cardinals, coming off her first tournament win at Colorado State.
Junior Sara-Maude Juneau will play in the second spot for the Cardinals and senior Daphne Parker will play the three spot. Redshirt freshman Anna Karin Ljungstrom will see action in her second tournament at the four spot and freshman Candice Wiley will play in the fifth spot.
Three Cardinals will be competing as individuals in the tournament. Senior Danielle Kom, senior Camille Williams and sophomore Maria Castellanos will all play as individuals.
