
Cindy LaCrosse Named Golfweek All-American

Louisville, Ky. - Louisville senior Cindy LaCrosse was named a Golf Week second team All-American. LaCrosse was recently named a second team All-American by NGCA, making her the first All-American in school history.
LaCrosse finished her senior year ranked 11th in the Golfstat Cup Standings. She was named the BIG EAST Golfer of the Week twice during the spring season. Her top performance of 2009 came at the Qdoba Invitational in Miami, Fla., Feb. 15-17. LaCrosse shot a 72 in the final round to take medalist honors with a score of 218 (74-72-72). She became the first Louisville player to win four tournaments in her career. LaCrosse has also set every school record for the Cardinals, including best stroke average at 72.2.
