
Cardinals Complete First Day of Reebok Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. - The University of Louisville men's and women's track and field teams competed in the 5,000-meter run during the first day of the Reebok Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State on Friday.
Junior Tarah McKay, who was the only Cardinal woman to compete, finished 10th with an NCAA Regional qualifying time of 16:47.29, the second fastest time in school history.
The cardinal men were led by senior Cory Thorne who placed 11th with a time of 14:15.47, while sophomore Michael Eaton finished 14th with a time of 14:21.08.
Following the final day of competition on Saturday which begins at 10:45 a.m. ET, the Cards will return to action on April 2-4 at the 82nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, Texas.
