University of Louisville junior Nicole Youman earned her first BIG EAST field hockey Offensive Player of the Week award following six-point performance against Villanova last week
Youman tallied two goals and two assists to lift No. 15 Louisville over Villanova 6-2 on Oct. 10. Her six-point game marked a career high for the junior. With seven games remaining in the regular season, she has already tied last year's total of 11 assists and is three short of a Louisville regular-season record. She currently ranks third all-time with 30 setups.
The Cardinals (7-5, 2-2 BIG EAST) will travel to No. 20 Ohio State Wednesday.
