Softball Welcomes Back Alumnae

The University of Louisville softball team will hold its alumnae game on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. at Ulmer Stadium.
The Cardinal softball program has completed ten seasons since beginning in 2000 under head coach Sandy Pearsall. During that time, Louisville has had six NCAA appearances, three conference titles and achieved several top 25 rankings. Nearly 30 former players representing every season will be on the field, or in the dugout as the present team prepares for the 2010 season.
"This is a great opportunity for present players to meet the women who built the foundation and tradition for this program," said head coach Sandy Pearsall. "To have so many players return is an honor for us and real tribute to the University of Louisville."
