
Juneau Finished Tied at 48th at NCAA Championship

Albuquerque, NM - Louisville's Sara-Maude Juneau shot a 73 in the final round of the NCAA Championship to finish tied at 48th. The freshman finished with a four day score of 303 in her first NCAA Championship. Arizona State's Azahara Munoz tied UCLA's Tiffany Joh to win the national championship with a score of 287. Southern California won the Championship with a score of 1168. UCLA finished second with a score of 1174 and defending champion Duke finished third with a score of 1180.
Juneau started on the 10th hole in the final round. She finished the back nine at even par with one birdie and a birdie on the 18th hole. She finished the front nine at one over par with one birdie and two bogeys.
Juneau was named to the NGCA All-Region team at the banquet that followed. She earned all-region honors after finishing tied for second in the NCAA East Regional in Athens, Ga. on May 8-10.
