PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - University of Louisville senior captain Robbie Moore is in 12th place in the decathlon after Friday's first day of competition at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships at Villanova Stadium.
Moore, a native of Eminence, Ky., scored 3,184 points through the first five of events in the decathlon. Moore was fifth in the shot put with a throw of 38 feet, 6.25 inches, ninth in the 400m with a time of 52.03, 10th in the 100m at 11.66, 12th in the high jump with a cleared height of 5-08.50 and 14th in the long jump with a leap of 19-06.00.
The decathlon will resume on Saturday at 9 a.m. ET, while the rest of Saturday's events will begin at 11 a.m. The final day of competition is set to begin on Sunday at 10 a.m.
