
Women's Tennis Moves to Highest Ranking Ever

The University of Louisville women's tennis team has achieved its highest-ever national ranking this week as the Cardinals move to No. 47. Last week's ranking of No. 50 tied the school's previous benchmark set in March of 2006.
The Cards are now 8-4 on the season and 3-1 against league opponents.
"I am very proud of being able to achieve the highest-ever ranking in women's tennis history," said first year head coach Mark Beckham. "I want to compliment the players on our team for working hard and playing extremely good tennis to get us to this national ranking. Hopefully we can carry this ranking forward and continue to improve upon it throughout the rest of the season."
The Cardinals travel to SMU this Frdiay where they will also play Tulsa on Saturday at SMU's courts.
