
Women's Golf Finishes Second at Qdoba Invitational

Miami, Fla. - The University of Louisville women's golf team finished second at the Qdoba Invitational in Miami on Tuesday afternoon. The Cardinals wrapped up play by shooting a 303 in the final round, finishing with a score of 901. East Carolina held the lead to win the tournament with a score of 887. The University of Virginia finished third with a score of 903.
Junior Cindy LaCrosse carded a 75 in the final round to finish tied at ninth with a score of 225. East Carolina's Abby Bools shot a 71 in the final round to take medalist honors with a score of 218.
Junior Amanda Henry shot a 76 in the final round to finish tied at 13th with a score of 226. Freshman Sara-Maude Juneau shot a 77 today to finish tied at 15th with a score of 227. Senior Jenny Calkins shot a low round of 75 today to finish tied at 18th with a score of 228.
Freshman Laura Anderson finished 34th with a score of 234. Sophomores Camille Williams and Chrissy Pachuta competed as individuals in the tournament. Williams finished 51st with a score of 241 while Pachuta finished 65th with a score of 263.
The Cardinals will be back in action on Friday, Feb. 22 as they compete in the Sun Trust Lady Gator in Gainesville, Fla.
