
No. 13 Louisville Travels to Middle Tennessee State Thursday Evening

Murfreesboro, Tenn. - The 13th ranked Louisville Cardinals will wrap up a five game road stint against Middle Tennessee State on Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. in the Murphy Center. The game will be broadcast locally on MTTV, the local student television station.
The Cardinals enter the game ranked 11th in the AP Poll and 13th in the Coaches Poll after dropping their last game to Nevada. Louisville enters the game with an overall record of 5-1. Senior Angel McCoughtry leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 22.5 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. Senior Candyce Bingham is second on the team in scoring and rebounding with 11.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
Middle Tennessee State enters the game with an overall record of 5-1. The Blue Raiders are coming off a 79-75 win over LSU in Baton Rouge. MTSU has won four straight after falling 85-65 to Oklahoma in the Preseason WNIT. Junior forward Alysha Clark leads the Blue Raiders in scoring and rebounding with 24.8 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Sophomore guard Anne Marie Lanning is second on the team in scoring with 15.2 points per game. Rounding out the top scorers is Kentucky native Chelsia Lymon with 10.8 points per game.
The Cardinals lead the series 2-0 against the Blue Raiders. The game will also be broadcast live on WKRD 790 or at www.uoflsports.com. Jim Kelch will handle play-by-play duties while Adrienne Johnson will be the color analyst.
